Boardwalk is a proud participant in Homes of Hope - a worldwide initiative to provide housing to the less fortunate.
 Homes of Hope has
built more than 900 homes in
Tijuana, Ensenada, and
Guadalajara, Mexico. By April 2002 Homes of
Hope will be celebrating the construction of their 1000th
home. More than 4,000 people
from all over the U.S and
Canada will participate in
Homes of Hope this year.
Volunteers come from many
different backgrounds and
work in a wide range of situations,
but they are united in
their desire to be part of
changing people's lives for the
better.
Boardwalk is very proud of the
extensive volunteer effort
demonstrated by our many
associates. This spring, a group
of Boardwalk employees,
accompanied by employees
from Chandos Construction
Ltd. and Canada ICI Mortgage
Services, contributed their time and effort by traveling to
Tijuana to participate in the
construction of two homes.
YWAM selected two needy
families and provided our
Boardwalk team with all the
necessary tools, plans, site
co-ordination, and materials so
they could get to work.
