Boardwalk Affordable Housing Program

At Boardwalk, we believe in building strong, inclusive communities. Our Affordable Housing Program provides reduced rental rates on select suites, guided by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) income thresholds, so families can enjoy a safe, welcoming, and well-connected home.

Program Features

1- and 2-bedroom suites with modern in-suite features

On-site support for a positive living experience

Income-based rent guided by CMHC affordability standards

Convenient location steps from transit, schools, and shopping

Applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify:

1-Bedroom Suites

Couples or parent(s) with a child under 10 years old
Maximum combined household income: $65,000

2-Bedroom Suites

Family of four OR a single parent with a child aged 10+
Maximum combined household income: $77,000

Required Documents

Applicants must provide:

  • A recent Canadian Notice of Assessment
  • Current proof of income
    (last 6 months of bank statements preferred)

Program Details

  • 1-Bedroom: $1,340
  • 2-Bedroom: $1,559

Rates reviewed each August
Lease Terms: Fixed 1-year lease starting on the 1st of each month 
Annual Review: Applicants must re-qualify each year at renewal with updated documentation
