Diabetes Canada Q2 Results
Published: August 7, 2019Diabetes Canada’s Declutter Q2 results are in and they’re looking great! Last year Boardwalk Residents and Associates collected an incredible 353,478 lbs. of clothing by the end of 2018. This converted to the equivalent of 47 children living with Type-1 Diabetes attending one of our 12 D-Camps
Between January 1, 2019, and July 1, 2019, the total pounds contributed by Boardwalk is 235, 996 lbs. which is more than half of what we collected in 2018!
These are very exciting results and we are continually grateful for everyone’s support.
All donations received by Diabetes Canada help fund research in the development of new treatments and solutions as well as Diabetes Canada’s D-Camps. D-Camps offer a medically supervised setting where kids can meet and be inspired by each other to manage their diabetes.
